Nocturnal
- Princes Trust - Xansa - Lewis PR collaboration for March 07
In March
2007 Nocturnal were challenged to design and install a high visibility
livery for a classic Porsche 930 Turbo. In less than week we managed
to complete the job just in time for its trek across Europe.
Xansa’s
Ron Reynolds has completed his ‘Royale Adventure’
through six European countries to raise £16,000 for the
Prince’s Trust. London-based Ron has driven 2007 miles in
just five days.
Dressed in a James Bond dinner jacket, Ron set off in his vintage
1989 Porsche 930 Turbo from Millbank Tower in central London heading
in the direction of France. The trek took the car through France,
Luxembourg, and onto the Nürburgring Grand Prix circuit in
Germany. The team motored to Geneva before stopping off at Monaco
where Ron negotiated the historic plan du circuit. The journey
then progressed from Nice to the landscape of Paris before reaching
the final straight, back to London.
“Every
man shares a taste with James Bond and my love of driving fast
cars is no exception,” said Reynolds. “Ron’s
Royale Adventure has so far raised an amazing amount of money
and this is a great endeavour to be a part of,” said Simon
Fulford, south-east regional director at the Prince’s Trust.
“I’ve
done a lot of work for charity previously but nothing like this,”
added Reynolds. “The Prince’s Trust helps change young
people’s lives in the UK, and hopefully the £16,000
raised by doing this trip will go a long way to making sure that
struggling young people gain the support they need.”
